Appendix F - List of Files

This table is a list of files that are either created by or a part of ezCart 2001.

Log files, including the text event, file transfer, application error and button file save logs, are not automatically deleted or truncated. Over time, it is possible these files will grow in size and it may be desirable to delete them to avoid wasted disk storage space. The files will be re-created as necessary by ezCart 2001 during normal program operation.

ezCart2001.EXE	Application	The ezCart 2001 program.
ezCart2001.CNT	Application	Table of contents file for the ezCart 2001 help system.
ezCart2001.HLP	Application	ezCart 2001 help file.
ezCart.ini	Windows (default)	ezCart 2001 preferences file. License information and user preferences are stored in this file. See the section on Preferences File for more information.
usernameez2001TxtEvt.Log	Application	A text file that contains communications & commands event information. The filename is in the form usernameez2001TxtEvt.Log, where the user name is the one entered by the user in the preferences dialog. Note: This file is only created and present if you are using TCP/IP as the communications method and have enabled event logging in preferences.
usernameez2001XfrEvt.Log	Application	A text file that contains file transfer event information. The filename is in the form usernameez2001XfrEvt.Log, where the user name is the one entered by the user in the preferences dialog. Note: This file is only created and present if you are using TCP/IP as the communications method and have enabled event logging in preferences.
ez2001Except.Log	Application	A text file that contains information about "exceptions" or failures of ezCart 2001 to operate properly. When a "fault" is detected, information is automatically written to this file. The file may be requested by support personnel. See the secton on Application Errors for more information.
ezcart .err	Application	A text file that contains a log of ezCart 2001 button file saves. Information included is when the save of a button started, erors (if any) and when the save completed.
