The ezCart 2001 installation program provides step-by-step instructions on every screen displayed during the installation. Follow the instructions on each screen to install ezCart 2001.
Before you install ezCart 2001
| 1. | Close all other programs, including any anti-virus programs. |
| 2. | If you are installing ezCart 2001 on Windows NT, Windows 2000 or Windows XP, log on to your computer with administrator privileges. |
To install ezCart 2001 from a CD
| 1. | Insert the CD into your CD-ROM drive. The installation program should start automatically. If it does not start, locate your CD-ROM drive in Windows Explorer and double-click in the SETUP.EXE program. |
| 2. | Follow the instructions on each screen to install the software. |
To install ezCart 2001 from a downloaded file
| 1. | After you have downloaded the installation program to your computer, locate the setup program (ezCart2001Setup.exe) in the folder to which you downloaded the file. [Double-Click] on the setup program to begin installation. |

After Installation
After installing ezCart 2001, you will need to configure the software by setting a number of user preferences and telling ezCart 2001 how to connect to the host audio unit. You will also need to tell ezCart 2001 where certain items, such as button files and inventory file, are located. To configure ezCart 2001, click on the [Configure] button on the main display, or select Edit | Configuration from the menu. See the section on ezCart 2001 Preferences for more information.
Removing ezCart 2001 from your PC
To remove ezCart 2001 from your PC, go to Control Panel | Add/Remove Programs and select ezCart 2001. Follow the prompts to remove ezCart 2001. All files will be removed, with the exception of your preferences file. The preferences file is named ezCart.ini and is located in your Windows directory (e.g. C:\WIndows or C:\WinNT). After you have removed ezCart 2001, you can safely delete the preferences file if you wish.
