ezCart 2001 is a "hot button" application for DCS™, Maestro™ and XStudio systems.

ezCart 2001 runs on a standard PC and provides the ability to control a host Maestro, DCS or XStudio unit.  You can play any of as many as 400 carts (audio files) instantly using buttons organized in pages of 20 buttons each and, if desired, use the provided channel queues (one for each of three channels) to "stack" a list of one-shot plays and then use the transport controls ( [Play], [Pause], [Stop] ).  Access to the host audio unit's inventory is provided, too.

You can optionally enable touch-screen mode, which changes ezCart 2001's behavior to mimic that of loading cart decks and playing what's in the deck on-demand.

You connect the PC running ezCart 2001 to a DCS or Maestro 3 unit directly (via serial cable) or use rcServer to communicate with the host audio unit via TCP/IP. For XStudio, communications are TCP/IP. When using TCP/IP, the user PC (and ezCart 2001) can be literally anywhere that accommodates the TCP/IP connection to rcServer or directly to XStudio.

Note: Maestro versions 1 and 2 are not supported. DCS version 1 is not supported.
