Exporting POWERGOLD DATA

Exporting POWERGOLD information for use by XStudio Voice Tracker is straightforward. If you are using POWERGOLD 2000 or later, follow these steps:

1.From the POWERGOLD 2000 main menu choose File | Database | Export | To POWERGOLD DOS v7 Song.Dat File.
2.Click [OK] at the message that pops up.
3.In the "Select Export Directory" box, browse to the place where you want the Song.Dat file to be created and click [OK].

If you are using the DOS version of POWERGOLD, copy the SONG.DAT file located in your POWERGOLD directory to a location that XStudio Voice Tracker can read the file from. Then, import the file as the section on Importing Music describes.
